Black Mountain or Bust

So this last weekend didn't exactly go as planned. After two days in the car we were able to make the easy five and a half hour drive to J-tree. 20% chance of snow at Black Mountain over the weekend very quickly became 100% screwed for climbing. 20% sounds like some snow flurries but apparently really means snow all day everyday.

Exit Strategy

Yesterday Sam T. got the FA of Exit Strategy, an old project at West Elden. A new sequence has made the imposing line possible. The project to the right still waits for some one to stick the first move and try the crux second move.

Battle of The Buldge

Lately there has been a battle ragging in the depths of Cherry Canyon. The FA of Flagstaffs hardest boulder problem is at stake and it is still anyones game.
